Thanks for sharing this Koo! Just like humans , there is no 'best' human. "Best at what?" should be the question that consumers of Gen AI ask. Longest context window – what does this mean? It's like saying a human has the best memory ... so what? "Best at ..." must be in the context of application to allow for the right consumer choice-making.
Good point there! Consumers of GenAI need to be more literate of the different dimensions that the models performance can be measure, then select what they need.
There is a parallel we can draw back to the humans. To develop our human capital, we first need exposure to the many jobs scope out there, followed by which one we have interest to perform in then followed by the necessary training etc. But just looking at it alone is shallow in my opinion because we have to take into account the capitalist society we are in.
This created a 'mess of jigsaw puzzle pieces' that most people struggle with, wanting to get into a job they want but may have to give up the lifestyle the want at the end of it. I may have digress a lot here. :)
